Learning objectives
On completion of this module, you will be able to:
- Identify the classifications of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP).
- Understand the implications for the childbearing person, the fetus, and the neonate.
- You will be able to describe the interventions for treatment and prevention of complications, and
- Gain an understanding of the appropriate monitoring and interventions required in caring for childbearing persons with HDP.
The module has been organized into three parts to provide a detailed overview of hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, the impact, and important aspects in caring for the childbearing person experiencing a hypertensive disorder of pregnancy.
