Ongoing education as an important aspect of the support system for care providers. RCP provides a series of ongoing workshops and courses including Fetal Health Surveillance Workshops, Coder Workshops, Advanced Life Support in Obstetrics (ALSO), Acute Care of at-Risk Newborns (ACoRN), Workshop for NRP Instructors, Maternal Newborn Nursing Review and The Pregnant Woman in the ER. In August 2011, we begin offering a series of online maternal newborn orientation learning modules for perinatal care providers. Several mudules are now available including, Prenatal Care, Assessment and Screening, Fetal Health Surveillance, Part 1 and Supportive Care in Labour, Parts 1 and 2.
