The Reproductive Care Program is pleased to present Hypertensive Disorders of Pregnancy, the latest title in a series of learning modules for nurses who work with childbearing women, newborns and families. Published as a collection of voice-annotated PowerPoint presentations, this educational series covers topics across the perinatal experience from prenatal to postpartum.
This module gives perinatal nurses an opportunity to:
- Review the diagnosis and classifications of the hypertensive disorders of pregnancy (HDP)
- Review the physiology and pathophysiology associated with HDP
- Explore nursing care measures and recommended treatments
RCP's learning modules address a broad range of perinatal education needs including prenatal assessment and screening, birth and labour, fetal health surveillance, induction, hypertension, postpartum care, newborn assessment and breastfeeding. We hope you find these resources useful.
