RCP e-News December 2016

RCP Learning Modules on the LMS – RCP has developed several self-directed Maternal Newborn Learning Modules to support the care of childbearing women, newborns, and families. These modules are currently housed on the RCP website. As each of the current learning modules are updated they will also be posted to the Provincial Learning Management System (LMS). The modules will continue to be available on the RCP website.

The RCP Fetal Health Surveillance Learning Modules 1-3 have recently been posted to the LMS. They can be accessed on the LMS following the usual log-in process and by selecting the “Reproductive Care Program” catalogue. A convenient and helpful feature of the LMS is the ability to track completion of specific learning modules. This feature is a beneficial tool for managing ongoing professional development.

ALARM Course Update – Both ALARM courses scheduled for May and November, 2017 are now completely booked. The waiting list for May is full and there is a waiting list started for the November course. To be placed on the November course waiting list visit the RCP website or contact Joanne.Ings@iwk.nshealth.ca.

Season’s Greetings to you and yours from the Staff of the Reproductive Care Program of Nova Scotia
