Please complete the application form below with all relevant information about your current role. Each application will be reviewed to ensure candidates meet the criteria outlined by CPS for becoming an NRP instructor.
NRP instructor courses have limited seats in order to best support new instructors.
- As part of the Regional NRP advisory committee RCP provides support to ensure that all NS and PEI facilities with birth services are able to sustain ongoing NRP education for their staff.
- Workshop seats may be determined by area of greatest need for instructors.
Workshop Information:
- The NRP Instructor Workshop is an 8-hour in-person workshop.
- Attendance for the full workshop duration is mandatory for successful completion.
You will be contacted following the receipt of your application to confirm a seat in the upcoming workshop or placement on a waitlist for a future workshop.
