Nova Scotia's Provincial Health Programs highlight achievements of 2015

As part of ongoing improvement and enhancement of healthcare services across the province, Nova Scotia's Department of Health and Wellness funds nine provincial programs, each focusing on a specific area of health and health outcomes: cancer care, cardiovascular health, diabetes care, organ and tissue donation, breast screening, hearing and speech, blood supply coordination, renal health, and reproductive care. Provincial Programs work with key health system stakeholders in Nova Scotia and across Canada, and also with each other, on issues of mutual concern and to pursue opportunities for shared action.
