Fundamentals of FHS Workshop (December 2026)

This is a 9-hour workshop held over 2-days, offered to multidisciplinary health professionals who are responsible fetal health surveillance (antepartum and intrapartum) as part of their professional roles. Attendance for the full workshop duration is mandatory for successful completion

• Tuesday, December 1st, from 0830h-1300h
• Wednesday, December 2nd, from 0830h-1300h

Registration Confirmation

All registration applications will be reviewed to confirm eligibility. You will be asked to submit the certificate of successful completion of the FHS Canada online exam, completed within 30 days prior to the workshop you plan to attend.

For each workshop spaces will be filled in the following priority order:

1. Priority in the Fundamentals of FHS Workshop is given to participants who are participating in the workshop as part of the process to become an FHS Instructor.
2. Remaining spaces for the Fundamentals of FHS Workshop are available to perinatal care providers currently working for NSHealth or IWK Health.

Cost:

• There is no cost to attend the Virtual Fundamentals of FHS Workshop
• This woekshop is only available for health professionals working in perinatal care/obstetrics in Nova Scotia
