FHS Instructor Workshop (December 2026)

This is an 18-hour workshop held over 4-days, offered to experienced physicians, nurses, or midwives who are supported by their organization to offer FHS Canada education programming. Attendance for the full workshop duration is mandatory. for successful completion

Schedule:

• Tuesday, December 1st, from 0830h-1300h
• Wednesday, December 2nd, from 0830h-1300h
• Tuesday, December 8th, from 0830h-1300h
• Wednesday, December 9th, from 0830h-1300h

Registration Confirmation

All registration applications will be reviewed to confirm eligibility. You will be asked to submit the following supporting documents:

• FHS Instructor Candidate Expression of Interest,
• FHS Instructor Candidate Expression of Interest, and
• Certificate of successful completion of the FHS Canada online exam, completed within 12 months prior to the workshop you plan to attend.

For each workshop spaces will be filled in the following priority order:

1. Priority in the FHS Instructor Workshop is given to Instructor candidates from Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland—Labrador.
2. If space permits, registration from Instructor candidates practicing in other provinces will be considered 4-weeks prior to the workshop dates.

Cost:

• There is no cost to attend the FHS Instructor Workshop for Instructor candidates in Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland-Labrador.
• There is a cost of $400 for participants from provinces outside Atlantic Canada.
