Please see this memo regarding a potential impending shortage of Penicillin G IV; in the event Penicillin G is unavailable for GBS prophylaxis, you are advised to use Ampicillin as directed in the memo (Ampicillin 2 g IV once then 1 g IV q4h until delivery).
